News and Notes:
As Go Green Racing and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) head to the bluegrass state and Kentucky Speedway, it will mark many firsts. Saturday night’s event will feature 27-year-old Will Kimmel behind the wheel of the No.32 Ford Fusion for owner Archie St.Hilaire. Furthermore, this will mark the Sellersburg, IN native’s first career NSCS start. Lastly, this weekend’s event will feature the new “Aero Package” that all NSCS teams will utilize in Saturday nights race.
Kimmel has some familiarity with the rough & bumpy 1.5 mile Kentucky Speedway and Go Green Racing. In 2011 Kimmel made his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) start driving for GGR and Archie St.Hilare where he started 15th. In 2010, Kimmel made his only NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start where he finished 21st. In two Arca Racing Series Starts, Kimmel has an average start of 5.5, and an average finish of 6.5.
Will Kimmel on Kentucky:
“I’m definitely really excited to get behind the wheel of the No.32 Ford for Go Green Racing this weekend. I’m really looking forward to getting on track Wednesday for the test, and get the extra seat time, which will only help us going into Saturday night. My goal for the weekend is to complete as many laps as possible, and I cant thank Archie and Mason enough for giving me the opportunity this weekend.”

Chassis Info: Crew Chief Clinton Cram will be bringing chassis GGR-742 to serve as the primary car for Will Kimmel’s NSCS debut. Previously, Mike Bliss ran this chassis at Dover in May, finishing 35th. Chassis GGR-815 will serve as the backup car, which previously ran at Michigan in June with Mike Bliss.
