News and Notes:
Heading into Sunday’s FedEx 400, Bliss will be looking to make his 176th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start, and his 14th at the “Monster Mile.” The Milwaukie, OR native has found success at the high banked concrete mile scoring eight top-ten finishes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS), and three top-five finishes in only three starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS).
Mike Bliss on Dover:
“Dover is such a tough and physically demanding track. It has many similarities to Bristol, except it’s twice the size and much tougher, not to mention the concrete surface. Clinton and the guys back at the shop have been working so hard all season, and I’m confident Dover is the place to turn our string of bad luck around.”
Chassis Info:
Crew Chief Clinton Cram will be bringing chassis GGR-742 to serve as the primary car. Bliss last drove this car at Bristol in April finishing 31st. Chassis GGR-289 will serve as the backup car for this weekend.
