News and Notes:
Heading into Sunday’s Food City 500, Bliss will be making his 7th career NSCS start at “The Last Great Coliseum.” The Oregon native has a best NSCS finish of 7th, which came back in 2005 driving for Gene Haas. This weekends race will also be another double duty weekend, as Bliss will run for Mark Smith and Tri-Star Motorsports in the Xfinity Series on Saturday.
Mike Bliss on Bristol: “Bristol is such a tough track both physically and mentally. Having two different pit roads can mess with you a little bit when pitting under green and yellow its different. Clinton and the guys at the shop have prepared a good car for us, and it should be a fun weekend.”
Chassis Info: Crew Chief Clinton Cram will be bringing chassis GGR-742 to serve as the primary car. This chassis last raced at Las Vegas in March. Chassis GGR-289 will serve as the backup car.
